A metronome is a practice tool that keeps a steady beat. Change the speed by increasing (make faster)or decreasing (make slower) the tempo (BPM).
Most often, the metronome should be set at 4/4, and 60-80 BPM.
A tuner is a tool that can tell you which note you are playing and how "in-tune" it is. *Make sure to allow microphone access on your device.
For violin, viola, and celllo: to make the pitch higher, turn the fine tuner to the right. To make the pitch lower, turn the fine tuner to the left (righty tighty, lefty loosey). For basses, turn the tuners the appropriate way based on which side of the instrument they're on. For more detailed tuning instructions, click HERE.
